Walk with me

Almost everyone I know in Berlin doesn't like Berlin. I have many friends who want to leave the city. Friends who are planning to leave the city. Friends who complain about the city. Friends who think they'd be better off somewhere else. I don't share that feeling.

I love Berlin.

It took me time. During my first 10 years of living here, I was sure that I would go back to my homeland. Any moment now I will be leaving Berlin and going back. I almost did it too. In November 2020, at the peak of Covid, I went back to Israel for three months with the goal to explore, check, do I really want to go back?

It turned out to be a big NO. I came back to Berlin and fell in love with the city. That's obviously a crude and terrible generalization, because Berlin is a huge, sprawling city and I only know well, intimately well, some parts of two of its neighborhoods: Mitte and Prenzlauer Berg.

I'd like to invite you, tourists and visitors, to walk in the city with me.

I'm not a professional tour guide. You don't need me to see the Holocaust Memorial. But if you feel like wandering the corners of the city, stepping into building courtyards, roaming through gardens and parks and places that aren't on any map, I'd love to plan something together.
